Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8 Inch 32GB Review

sup guys welcome to unbox the box in today’s video we have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 and we’ll be talking about things like design and build quality camera speakers and ports display hardware performance software and of course battery life but we cannot do that obviously until we get this unboxing done so let’s go ahead and unbox this box you’re good to go [Music] let’s pull it out the box mm here we go let me make sure you can see the fool tablet here guys all right so let’s take it out and see what else is in the box here’s the tablet itself it’ll take this protective cover off and here’s the tablet itself and it looks like I have turned it on by accident already but that’s the tablet let’s put this to the side for now and let’s see what else is in the box okay so we have a quick start guide here safety information and a pin for a sim there’s also a 2.0 USB cable and the charging brick let’s see if there’s anything else and looks like this is it alright guys now that we have thinking all the unboxing mess away let’s talk about the design that built and build quality of the particular model Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 the establish has a metal back the frame is still made out of plastic but despite the plastic frame the quality feels very well it doesn’t feel like a cheaply made tablet and despite the metal back frame it has a pretty light weight of 364 grams however it is not the thinnest tablet at 8.9 millimeters the front looks like a typical Samsung tablet as usual we get a physical home button the back button and the recent button which are all capacitive and you can get this tablet either all black or silver just like mine but despite the fact that it’s silver you will the front of the tablet still will come in black which will attract a lot of fingerprints as you can tell which could be pretty annoying but it depends on the physical on the personal preference when it comes to camera speakers and pores guys on the bottom we have a USB type-c connector on top we’re getting a 3.5 millimeter audio jack on the left side we have a micro SD card slot with 4G version this could this is where the SIM card goes as well the memory capacity could be increased up to 400 gigabytes next to USB type-c port there’s a one single speaker I think it’s a bad place for a speaker because while watching movies or YouTube you could cover it up with your hands by accident the sound quality however is not bad it can be quiet loud but the bass is not that good unfortunately guys I cannot demonstrate the sound quality to you due to the YouTube restrictions but it’s fairly decent on the back we have an 8 megapixel camera that is supported by an LED flash you could record Full HD videos but unfortunately no 4k the front-facing camera offers a resolution of 5 megapixels considering that this is a tablet that quality of the camera is not bad at all Samsung Galaxy Tab A has a 8 inch screen the size is perfect for reading and it’s very easy to carrying around the aspect ratio is 16 to 10 and the TFT panel offers an HD resolution of 1280 by 800 the screen is very bright as you can see offers very nice contrast and colors the viewing angles are also very good [Music] Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 has a battery with the capacity of 500 mega amperes that should last for about 14 hours so the battery life is very good and especially when considering the price during my everyday use the battery life has been great as well the tablet is almost not losing any charge while the screen is off during daily use battery lasted for about 10 hours during that time the screen brightness varied between 50% and 100% I use my bluetooth and y5 was constantly on I surf the web worked in Microsoft Word and watch YouTube videos so if you’re looking for a tablet that will not give you any issues when it comes to the battery and you don’t want to carry extra battery charger then this is definitely a tablet to go with out of the box Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 runs Android 7.11 mugak but there is an update which is android 8.1 oriole and this update helps with high dynamic range photos bluetooth battery levels measurements and better screen management inside the Galaxy Tab 8 runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor all four cores are clocked at 1.4 gigahertz there’s 2 gigabytes of RAM and 16 gigabytes to third 2 gigabytes of internal storage with the 16 gigabyte version you get about 9 gigabyte to use the benchmark results are in Geekbench website shows 491 escort us at single core and 1253 for multi-core but let’s run the test ourselves to see the actual results guys if this video was helpful to you in any way I would really appreciate if you hit the like button subscribe to my channel comment down below what kind of content you’d like to see in the future and now let’s get back to the results thanks to the update to 8.1 Oreo we have a benchmark results they are better that have been shown on a Geekbench website and now the single core runs at 5:51 and multi-core at 414 81 this is not a score for an advanced computer or even a tablet but considering the fact that this tablet can be purchased for around $150 this is a very good score all apps run pretty smoothly and when switching between the apps I didn’t see any stuttering so as you can see we’re going back and forth back and forth no stuttering whatsoever maybe the tablet will have trouble if there’s some high-end apps like Photoshop but overall performance is pretty good
